This excursion allows you to explore Brazo Tristeza (a branch off Lake Nahuel Huapi) while navigating the deep blue waters of the lake on a private motorboat surrounded by impressive mountains and waterfalls. From the boat you will see the Valdivian greens of the area, as well as the opportunity to see numerous species of waterfowl and possibly a sighting of the infamous, Andean condor.
As you continue throughout the lake you will also learn about the area through its topography while you learn about the glacier that created the majestic coastlines. If the weather allows it, catch a glimpse of Mount Tronador (3450 meters- just over 2 miles- above sea level) with its permanent snowy peaks might be visible. Once we arrive to the end of the Brazo Tristeza, we offer a two-hour walk to the waterfall in the heart of the forest.
On our return, a picnic made up of delicious local flavors and refreshing drinks will await us.
